Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+ to Debut On August 20 in India

Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones from the Korean manufacturer Samsung, is reportedly going to launch in India on August 20 just after its global debut on August 7.

The company has started sending out media invites for the launch event and the launch event is slated for August 20 in Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru. The smartphone launch event is scheduled to take place at 11:30 AM IST. For those who can’t make it to the event, you can watch the live stream on Samsung India’s official website. The company has already revealed the price and launch offers of the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 series.

As mentioned earlier, the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup starts at Rs 69,999 for the Galaxy Note 10 and goes all the way up to Rs 89,999 for the Galaxy Note10+ with 512GB of internal storage. The Galaxy Note 10+ with 256GB storage is priced at Rs 79,999.

Talking about the launch offers, potential buyers will get Galaxy Watch Active for Rs 9,999 on the purchase of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+. Furthermore, consumers pre-booking the latest Galaxy Note 10 series phones will get a cashback of Rs 6,000 with the payment via HDFC credit or debit cards. The Rs 6,000 cashback will also be applicable for transactions made through ICICI credit or debit cards on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and Tata Cliq.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED infinity-O display with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels. It comes in two models 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.

Under the hood, it packs an Exynos 9825 chipset coupled with Mali-G76 MP12. As for the software department, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is installed with OneUI skin based on Android 9 (Pie). The smartphone has a 4300 mAh non-removable battery with Fast Charging support (45W).

Coming to the cameras, Galaxy Note 10+ packs a with a 4-lens camera module with a 12MP 2PD A/F dual aperture- F1.5/F2.4 primary sensor with OIS along with a 16MP ultra-wide F2.2 sensor, 12MP F2.1 telephoto sensor with OIS and a VGA time of flight sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 10MP 2PD F2.2 selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 which is the base variant shares most of the specs and features from its big brother. The differences crop up in following areas- display, battery, RAM and storage.

It has a smaller 6.3-inch 2280×1080 pixels AMOLED Infinity-O display with a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, it packs an Exynos 9825 chipset coupled with Mali-G76 MP12. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 comes with 3500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Further, it features a triple rear camera setup instead of a quad. The triple rear camera module consists of a 12MP 2PD A/F dual aperture- F1.5/F2.4 primary sensor with OIS along with a 16MP ultra-wide F2.2 sensor, 12MP F2.1 telephoto sensor with OIS.
