Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Samsung‘s much-awaited Galaxy S23 Ultra has been tested on the Geekbench site. The company is reportedly planning to introduce the Galaxy S23 series in the first half of 2023.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is listed on Geekbench with the model number SM-S918U. According to Geekbench, the device has an unnamed chipset with the “kalama” motherboard. Based on earlier leaks, the processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Geekbench

The device managed to achieve a 1,521 score in the single-core test and 4,689 multi-core points. Based on the listing, the device tested on the benchmarking platform has 8GB of RAM, and the device will likely be launched in the 12GB of RAM variant as well. Software-wise, the handset is running Android 13 OS out of the box and OneUI 5 is probably running on top of it.

In addition, it is still unclear whether Samsung will introduce an Exynos-powered Galaxy S23 phone since previous reports indicated that Samsung will use Qualcomm processors in all S-series phones in 2023, although recent reports state that Samsung’s in-house Exynos chips will still be considered.
