Samsung unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold4 foldable device and Galaxy Z Flip 4 globally. The Galaxy Z Fold4 foldable phone is the successor to the last year’s Galaxy Fold3 whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes as a successor to the last year’s Flip 3. Samsung also launched the Galaxy Watch 5 series, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 comes with a 7.6-inch inner foldable AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1768 x 2208 pixel resolution. Folding the phone reveals a 6.2-inch outer AMOLED display with a resolution of 832 x 2268, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300nits brightness.
On the inside, the handset is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The Galaxy Z Fold4 has a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP main lens with night vision, a 10MP secondary lens with a 3x telephoto lens (30x hybrid zoom), and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there is a 4MP under-display camera and a 10MP cover camera.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 is powered by a 4,400mAh battery, supported by 25W fast charging, 11W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the device.
In terms of software, the phone runs Android 12-based OneUI 4 out of the box. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, 4G LTE, side fingerprint scanner, Samsung Knox, NFC, and IP68 rating.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has 512 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM. Price starts at $999 (roughly Rs 79,206) and it will be offered in Phantom Black, Blue, Orange, and Bora Purple colour options.

As for specifications, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2640 pixel resolution. The Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity Flex display offers a 21:9 aspect ratio and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
On the outside, there is a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED display featuring a 260 x 512-pixel resolution.
