Samsung Launched Galaxy Note 9 With 6.4-inch Infinity Display

On the event held in New York, Samsung unveiled its new Samsung Note 9. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 succeeds the Galaxy Note 8 launched a year ago and packs many noteworthy highlights that make it a persuading update over its predecessor.

The price of the new Samsung Note 9 is set to $999 in the US for the 128GB storage variant, that is around Rs.67,800 while the 512GB variant will retail at $1,250 (around Rs.86,000). The Samsung Note 9 will be available in selected markets from 24th of this month. Galaxy Note 9 comes in four colors – Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper, and Midnight Black.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Specifications

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features a 6.4-inch dual-curved Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a 1440 x 2960 Quad HD+ resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. While the company claims that the panel used in the Galaxy Note 9 is 10% brighter than the ones used in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. The device runs on the same chip that is used in the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, Exynos 9810 octa-core 10nm processor. However, in the US the Galaxy Note 9 will be fuelled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset instead of Exynos 9810 Octa-core. Furthermore, the Samsung Note 9 comes with an on-device AI-based performance adjusting algorithm to make sure users get a stable experience consistently. Talking about the RAM and Internal storage, Samsung Note 9 comes with two configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage. The device also got an SD card slot for further expansion of the storage up to 512 GB.

Moving to the camera department, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a 12Megapixels + 12 Megapixels dual-camera setup with dual optical image stabilization. The primary wide-angle camera features a f/1.5/f/2.4 dual-aperture as well as Dual Pixel AF. The secondary camera uses a f/2.4 aperture.  Moreover, Galaxy Note 9 comes with AI-powered scene recognition to help users capture an amazing shot by optimizing the settings. The device’s “intelligent camera” features flaw detection to notify users in the event the image is blurry, subject blinked, or if there is a smudge on the lens. On the front, there is an 8-Megapixels AF sensor with a f/1.7 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 packs a massive 4000mAh battery and supports wireless charging also. The general connectivity options include 4G VoLTE (LTE Cat. 18), dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, ANT+, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While the sensors include an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, heart rate sensor, proximity sensor, RGB light sensor, Iris sensor, and a pressure sensor. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Price in India & Samsung Note 9 Launch Date

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB storage variant is expected to be priced at Rs.70,000 in India while the 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage cost Rs. 84,900. The device is available for pre-order from August 10 to August 21, suggesting sales will begin on August 22. Buyers can pre-order the Samsung Note 9 by paying the full amount.
