Sony XZ4 Specs Leaked, Could be the First Snapdragon 855 Phone

Sony XZ3, the flagship smartphone from the Japanese company launched recently at IFA and we have already started seeing leaks of its successor. A new leak has revealed the few specifications of Xperia XZ4, the successor to the Sony XZ3.

Now, the popular leakster Ice Universe on his Weibo profile revealed some details of the upcoming Sony XZ4. According to the new report, the Sony Xperia XZ4 will come with 3.5mm audio jack and it will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC, and if this is true, this could be the first smartphone to launch with the flagship SOC. The recently launched SD 855 SoC features a 5G modem and improved AI performance.

Coming to the rumored specifications of the Sony XZ4 revealed by Ice Universe, the device will reportedly have a notch-less 6.5-inch screen. The device is going to sport super tall 21:9 display, made by LG.

The display is expected to have rounded corners. Moving on, the phone is expected to come with a 3,900mAh battery and it will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Sony XZ4 will be underpinned by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Supplementing the performance of the SoC is 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 256GB of internal memory. The Sony XZ4 is likely to run on Android Pie out of the box. This phone is expected to have a triple camera setup at the back and primary camera of the back will feature a 1/2.3” sensor and OIS. Up front, there will be a single selfie shooter with super wide-angle lens.

Mobile World Congress is scheduled to run from 25-28 February 2019 and the Sony XZ4 is expected to unveil on the MWC.
