Vivo is all set to introduce the new smartphone under S series. The smartphone will be called Vivo S5, and the event is set for November 14 in China. Now, a latest render leak of the Vivo S5 suggesting three colour options for the rear: green, blue and peach. The official-looking Vivo S5 render also showcase the phone’s front and rear design.
The render also shows off diamond shaped camera setup that houses three cameras and an LED flash. The front shows that the phone has a notch-less display.
Furthermore, the image of Vivo S5 endorsement program shows the presence of a punch-hole at the top-right corner of display instead of notchless display as seen in renders. It seems the company will launch Vivo S5 in two variants – one with a notch-less display and one with a punch-hole. However, like renders, this image does not show the rear design of the phone.
Previously, Cai Xukun, brand ambassador of Vivo was caught holding the Vivo S5 smartphone in a promo video for a fashion magazine will also make an appearance at the event. The promo video revealed that the Vivo S5 has a 3.5mm audio jack on its top edge and it has a diamond-shaped quad camera setup on its back. Moreover, the absence of rear mounted fingerprint scanner hints at the in-screen fingerprint reader on the phone. The Vivo S5 is seen to sport a gradient back panel finish.
Vivo is teasing the phone with the tagline “Vivo S5 illuminate your beauty“. It hints that the phone might be a camera-centric smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker just like Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the phone are not known. Going by the rumors, the forthcoming Vivo S5 will feature a 64MP primary camera.
