Vivo X23 Symphony Edition comes with Snapdragon 660 with stunning selfie camera

It looks like Vivo got a busy year in manufacturing new version smartphones without taking a break it is busy in unveiling new smartphones. Vivo is not done with the launch of its two smartphones this week and now company introduced a new version of the smartphone on Friday named Vivo X23 called Symphony Edition still with a lower price tag and a less impressive chipset.

The outstanding key selling point in this smartphone is all about its selfie camera with a 24.8-megapixel front camera.W here the handset got the same display size as that of regular X23 sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display It has a fingerprint scanner underneath, leaving one less distraction for the colourful panel at the back. However, the Symphony edition armed a toned down to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 670 SoC. Which also brought less RAM – only 6 GB. The storage remains 128 GB with no card slot for more capacity.

On the Imaging duties, The Symphony Edition got dual rear camera setup remains the same – 12 MP primary sensor behind a f/1.8 lens and a secondary 13 MP snapper with f/2.4 aperture. While the front shooter is said to sport 24.8 Megapixel that is double Mp than its regular version which got 12 MP sensor. Both versions have a f/2.0 lens, We are still confused whether vivo implemented a new sensor or are just adding a new image-stacking solution as they do with other phones.

On the Software front, The device runs on OS is Funtouch, based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The battery remains at 3,400 mAh capacity and is still charged over a micro USB port, there’s a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top. The device sports same connective options.

Pricing

The new Symphony Edition Vivo X23 has been priced at CNY 2,798 (roughly Rs. 28,900). It is lower than the price tag that the original Vivo X23 arrived with, that is CNY 3,498 (roughly Rs. 37,100). The phone is available in two gradient colour options – Arctic Morning and Starry Night Ocean.
