Vivo Y70s 5G to pack Exynos 880, 48MP triple camera setup, official teaser reveals

Vivo has dropped official teasers for its upcoming 5G smartphone, Vivo Y70s 5G. Vivo is yet to confirm an official launch date for the Vivo Y70s. Ahead of the official launch, the teasers of the upcoming phone from Vivo have now been released. The teasers reveal some key information about the Vivo Y70s 5G smartphone.

As per the posters, the upcoming Vivo Y70s will be launched in gradient color choices of pink and blue. The phone has a punch-hole screen and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner confirms the presence of the LCD panel. 

On the rear, there is a triple camera setup along with an LED flash. It is confirmed to be powered by the Exynos 880 5GSoC. The chipset is said to be an under-clocked version of the Exynos 980 used in the Vivo’s X30 series back in December 2019. As per the reports, Exynos 880 SOC will have two Cortex-A77 cores running at up to 2GHz and six A55 cores running at 1.8GHz. The report also hints at the integrated 5G modem and a Mali-G76 GPU.

It is said to come in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. The handset will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Further, it is confirmed to pack a 4,500mAh battery. The device managed to achieve 641 and 1814 scores in the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
