Xiaomi Mi 9T Could be a Rebranded Redmi K20: Hands-on Image and Specifications Leaked

Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones in China. It is also expected to go official in India very soon. Now, a new Xiaomi device called Mi 9T hands-on photo leaked online and the reports are claiming that the could be the rebranded Redmi K20.

This makes sense since the leaked image showing the retail box of the Mi 9T smartphone has an pop-up selfie camera. Moreover, the screen protector on the smartphone shows a triple-camera setup including a 48MP camera sensor, a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset.

The Redmi K20 had some impressive features, with the RAM varying from 6 GB to 8 GB and the internal storage memory capacity from 64 GB to 256 GB. The processor fitted is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.  The device has a large 6.39 inch full HD display and the screen resolution 1080×2340 pixels.

In terms of optics, the Redmi K20 on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a pixel size of 1.6-micron; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron and a third 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron. Up front, it sports a 20-megapixel camera for selfies.

The phone is loaded with the MIUI 10 skin which is based on Android Pie 9.0 OS and has a large enough 4000 mAh battery with an 18W fast charging.

There is no official confirmation on the existence of the Mi 9T. Wait till the official launch to be sure of these details or official confirmation from Xiaomi before that.
