Xiaomi Pocophone F1 to take on OnePlus 6 with Qualcomm 845 SoC

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco’s Pocophone F1 is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 mobile processor, as it is hinted by the company on their official Twitter page. The new tweet from Poco’s official Twitter page confirmed that the company’s partnership with the leading chipset maker Qualcomm.

Poco made a tweet that states “POCO is proud to partner with Qualcomm, the world leader in smartphone performance. Get ready for break-neck speed. #GoPOCO.” Indirectly confirms that the upcoming Pocophone F1 is said to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 845 processor creating it one of the fastest phones on the market right now.

However, the tweet isn’t revealed much about the upcoming phone Pocophone F1’s specifications and features.

The recent rumors suggested that Pocophone F1 will feature a 4000 mAh battery, 20 megapixels selfie camera, and IR face unlock. At the bottom, the phone has a headphone jack and a USB type C port.

Furthermore, Pocophone F1 said to sport a dual camera setup with 1.4-micron large pixels and dual pixel autofocus on the primary sensor. Furthermore, the front camera will have a Super Pixel technology. The device will also sport a notch on the top.

Talking about the rumored expected price of Pocophone F1, the PCGarage.ro has listed the Pocophone F1 for 999 RON. This is approximately Rs. 34,200 in India. However, early buyers can grab the smartphone for just 899 RON (Rs. 30,800 approx.) for a limited time. The device is said to be available only in Graphite color option and Pocophone F1 is likely to release in October this year in India.
