Asus Zenfone 6 Smartphone to Reportedly Launch in India on June 16

Taiwanese giant Asus’ latest flagship, the ASUS Zenfone 6, was unveiled on May 17 and it looks like Asus fans in India will not have to wait too long for the smartphone to reach the country. According to the report by MySmartPrice, Asus is planning a June 16 launch of the Asus Zenfone 6 in India.

However, the company has not yet officially communicated about this upcoming smartphone. To recall, the company has launched the Zenfone 6 Edition 30 that has flip camera mechanism earlier this week. The flip module has a 48MP conventional + 13MP ultra-wide camera. The special edition comes with only one variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Asus Zenfone 6 Specifications

Asus Zenfone comes with a 6.4 inch IPS LCD FHD + display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Under the hood, the device is fitted by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and comes in two RAM variants 6GB and 8GB. The handset is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W quick charge 4.0.

For photography, Asus Zenfone 6 features the whopping 48MP primary camera with the flagship Sony IMX586 sensor and a secondary 13MP ultrawide angle camera. Connectivity options on the device include 3.5mm audio jack, USB type C port, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the smartphone runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie with company’s own ZenUI skin.

Talking about the price, the Zenfone 6 is priced at €499 (approx. Rs. 39,000) for the base variant featuring 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, €559 (approx. Rs. 43,900) for 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant, and €599 (approx. Rs. 47,000) for 8GB RAM+256GB storage variant. The smartphone is available in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver color options for buyers.
