ASUS Zenfone 6 Edition 30 Launched with 12GB RAM, 512GB Storage, 30-month Warranty

Taiwanese handset maker Asus has launched a special edition of its flagship smartphone Zenfone 6 at the Computex event in Taiwan to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The special edition has named Zenfone 6 Edition 30 and it comes with whopping 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage and a 30-month warranty.

As per the company, only 3000 units of the 3,000 Zenfone 6 Edition 30 will be ever made. The special edition will be available for buyers in an exclusive Matte Black color variant that has an “iconic Zen-inspired concentric-circle patterning” and “distinctive Edition 30 logo.” Along with the Zenfone 6 Edition 30, Asus has launched a few other Edition 30 products too including laptops.

However, the company hasn’t revealed any details regarding the pricing and availability of the Asus Zenfone 6 Edition 30. The special edition is expected to launch only in few countries including India.

Asus Zenfone 6 Edition 30 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone 6 Edition 30 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD screen. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The same processor was also used in the Asus Zenfone 6. Coming to the camera department, Asus had opted for a flip camera mechanism. The flip module has a 48MP conventional + 13MP ultra-wide camera. The special edition comes with only one variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage whereas the standard Zenfone 6 was launched with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Asus Zenfone 6 Edition 30 runs the company’s custom skin ZenUI 6 based on Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and it comes with an 18-watt fast-charging tech. The connectivity options on the Zenfone 6 Edition 30 include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-frequency GPS, and dual-SIM with dual-VoLTE. The handset features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
