ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 gets firmware update in India

This year, Asus after its launch of flagship ZenFone 5Z gained huge popularity in the mobile market with its stunning feature packed phone at an affordable price that got a tough competitor with Oneplus brand. The company recently released ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M2 which is an upgraded version of the Zenfone Max Pro M1. Now the firm rolled out a new firmware Over the Air (FOTA) update for the ZenFone Max Pro M2 in the Indian market.

The version with a Model WW-15.2016.1811.177 is about 1.62GB in size. The company rolled out this new update which is first for a device  which was launched a couple of weeks back in India. The new update was rolled out just a few days after the company rolled out a new update for its Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Zenfone 5.

Lastly, The phone has been updated from October security patch to November and now it is likely to have December patch.

It is assured that the update should start rolling out over the air soon enough. Firstly, the update will roll out in batches where a minimal number of users will get the update and then to others. It is done to ensure the update is free from bugs.
