Google Pixel 4A appears on Geekbench; check details here

Tech giant Google is prepping the launch of its new smartphone. Even though we’ve haven’t heard many rumors about the phone, the upcoming Google Pixel 4A has appeared in the GeekBench, which reveals some key specifications. 

The phone has been listed as ‘Google sunfish’ on the Geekbench 4.4.2 listing. As per the listing, the device will be using the octa-core Qualcomm chipset with a base frequency of 1.80GHz which is said to be the Snapdragon 730 processor. The SoC is bundled with 6GB of RAM. The phone received 2529 and 6366 points in single-core and multi-core tests. The listing also confirms the Android 10 OS.

Google Pixel 4A Specifications

Based on earlier rumors, the device may have a 5.81-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. There will be a punch-hole at the upper-left corner that houses an 8-megapixel camera. Under the hood, it is tipped to pack a 3,080mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

It is expected to feature a single 12-megapixel sensor and LED flash both housed in a square-shaped module on the rear. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. Google could announce different RAM and storage models of the smartphone in Just Black and Barely Blue colors. 

A recent leak has suggested that Pixel 4A could be priced starting at $399 and will go on sale from May 22. But, no specific price amount has been leaked or tipped till now.
