Tech giant Google will announce its Pixel 4A very soon, but that hasn’t stopped interesting leaks from surfacing. The upcoming Pixel series is highly anticipated and to add to that wait, fresh information about one of the phone from the series has leaked on the Internet again. Today, an image of what is alleged to be the Google Pixel 4a retail box was leaked.
According to the packaging of the retail box, the Pixel 4a comes with a rear camera module, which mimics the layout of the larger Pixel 4 series. The design of the phone looks similar to its predecessor Pixel 3a. Further, as per the report, the upcoming Pixel 4a will have a unibody plastic design. It will feature a 5.81-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, the phone is tipped to come equipped with a punch-hole display.
Under the hood, the handset is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC with Adreno 618 GPU. It will also pack Google’s own Titan M security chip.
In a separate post, a new leak by 9to5Google revealed some new details of the phone. According to the report by 9to5Google, the Pixel 4a will pack Snapdragon 730 SoC and it will be launched in 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants. The device will run Android 10 out of the box which is not surprising and the phone is also receiving three-years Android updates.
In terms of display, the Pixel 4a will have a 5.81-inch OLED screen with a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. As we mentioned in the beginning, there will be a punch hole selfie camera of 8MP with a FOV of 84-degree in the top-left corner.
On the rear side, the handset will flaunt a fingerprint scanner and a single 12.2MP primary camera, housed in a rectangular cutout with an LED flash. There is also an auto-focus and OIS/EIS. The rear-camera will offer video recording options – 720p at 240FPS, 1080p at 30FPS, 1080p at 60FPS, 1080p at 120FPS, and 4K at 30FPS. However, the front camera will be capable of recording only in 1080p resolution at 30FPS.
At last, there will be a 3,080 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support through USB-C port. Unfortunately, there will be no wireless charging.
