Huawei P30 Pro’s stunning ”Super Zoom” capability teased ahead of launch

Huawei will be launching its latest flagship P30 Pro on March 26 launch in Paris. Ahead of launch this device is rounding up with numerous leaks and renders. Now a new teaser flooded into internet hinting its at greatly-improved zoom capabilities for the handset, The company shared nine teaser posters that show the capability of Super Zoom mode.

On last month, On an interview with Android central, Clement Wong, Vice President of Global Product Marketing for Huawei, said that the P30 Pro, the higher-end model of the P30 family(probably P30 Pro), will have a periscope-like camera that will grant it “super-zoom” capabilities. Additionally, the company is looking to make improvements in low light photography the company already got great night mode feature and any improvements on this will be a nice bonus.

On to the previous rumours, The company has been teasing the camera on the Chinese social network Weibo, And the one that picture showed is a moon which got pretty impressive details for a smartphone camera. And there are leaks that the smartphone would feature a 5x optical zoom lens whereas Oppo recently revealed its 10x lossless zoom lens at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. If it continues with 10x zoom capabilities it would be a pretty big jump from what we’ve seen in recent smartphones.

Previously, Salshleaks shared some hands-on images of Huawei P30 Pro, The device sports two strips at the rear side one with three camera lenses and the other has a flash and probably a ToF (time of flight) sensor. In the triple camera setup, there is a square shaped lens which is probably the folded optics module granting the device “super zoom”.

Once the device will unveil on March 26 we will come to know what improvements will the device boast. Till then stay tuned to DWR.
