Mi Note 10 Lite to launch on April 30, reveals company

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has announced the launch date of its upcoming Mi Note 10 Lite. The smartphone has been confirmed for launch on April 30 by a post shared by the company on the forum.

The launch date of the phone comes after there had been increasing rumors about the Mi Note 10 Lite and the Redmi Note 9. The company has also confirmed that it will launch the Mi Note 10 Lite globally alongside the Mi Note 10 and Redmi Note 9 during the launch event. The live stream of the launch event will begin at 8 PM GMT+8 (5:30 PM IST).

The image in the shared post shows the Mi Note 10 Lite smartphone featuring a quad rear camera setup on the rear and a waterdrop notch on the front. The Mi Note 10 Lite will be offered in three color options – Black, White, and Blue.

According to the previous listing on TENAA, the Mi Note 10 Lite will flaunt a 6.47-inch display. For optics, the phone reportedly packs a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP unit ultra-wide, a 5MP shooter macro lens, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera.

A battery of 5,260 mAh with 30W fast charging support tipped to fuel the smartphone. Further, the device will run on Android 10-based MIUI 11.

Connectivity options on the phone are tipped to include dual-band Wi-Fi, and the handset is claimed to be 156mm tall and 73mm wide.

As per the US FCC listing, the handset will be fuelled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC.
