Mystery ‘Google Coral’ Smartphone with Android Q Spotted at Geekbench

Along with the upcoming launch of the possible Google Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL, a new report hints of another Google device that is about to see the light of day. The listing surfaced on Geekbench points to a new phone codenamed ‘Coral’ and it will come with an unannounced Android Q and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

Interestingly, the listing shows that the phone will run Android Q operating system. Few days ago, Android Q early build leaked in a video, revealed some of the Android Q features such as Native Dark Mode, Better Permission Management, Samsung Dex like desktop mode, minor changes to UI elements, changes in Settings, more options in Developers Mode, option to turn off all sensors and more. However, it was an early build of the software, none of the Android Q features are set in stone as of now.

This model is listed in GeekBench’s database under the codename ‘Coral’ and it’s shown with an octa-core processor. It is clocked at 1.78 GHz and comes with 6GB of RAM. As far as the results are concerned the phone showed a single-core score of 3,296and a multi-core score of 9,235, which is quite impressive.

For now, there is no information about the detailed specs and availability of the device. But since the device has now been spotted GeekBench, we expect to soon see some new leaks for more details as well.
