Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October 2018, but there have been a several rumours circulating suggesting the mid-range Lite versions of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. These phones are being dubbed the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL. Now, the upcoming device from Google, believed to be the Pixel 3 Lite XL appeared on Geekbench and revealed some information of the device.
According to the listing, the Pixel 3 Lite XL gets an impressive score of 1805 (single-core) and the massive 5790 score (multi-core). These results are in the same range as other Snapdragon 710 phones, such as the Nokia 8.1 and Oppo R17 Pro.
As per the listing on Geekbench, the Pixel 3 Lite XL is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The device is seen running Android 9 Pie OS.
The Geekbench listing even revealed the interesting details about the Google Pixel 3 Lite XL, including the fact that it could be manufactured by Foxconn, the company that also assembles the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Foxconn is the same company that assembles Apple iPhones and HMD Global’s Nokia devices.
Other than that, previous reports revealed that the Pixel 3 Lite XL is expected to sport a 6-inch display. In the camera department, the Pixel 3 Lite XL is likely to feature a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Both the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL are also expected to retain the headphone jack. Coming to the storage, it might include 32GB of storage. But, there’s no dedicated SD card slot inside the devices. There is no information on the battery capacity of Pixel 3 XL Lite. Moreover, both the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite are said to be available in only white and black colours.
Talking about the Pixel 3 Lite, it is expected to come with 5.56-inch full HD+ resolution screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 while the it could be launched running on the Snapdragon 670 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and options of two storage variants, 32GB and 64GB. The Pixel 3 Lite is expected to have a 2915 mAh battery.
