OnePlus 7 Pro Display Gets DisplayMate’s Highest Rating

OnePlus 7 Pro is set to unveil on May 14th globally and surprisingly, one part of the device has already won an award! Yes. You heard it right! DisplayMate, a popular suite of tools for display diagnostics and calibration, has given the A+ rating to OnePlus 7 Pro’s display. The screen on OnePlus upcoming handset showed consistent Top Tier display performance and grabbed the highest rating in the DisplayMate’s lab test and measurement categories.

As per DisplayMate’s lab tests, the OnePlus 7 Pro OLED Display earned the Highest A+ Display Rating. As announced by the company on Twitter, Display Mate’s in-depth assessment of the device will be published on May 14.

Diving into its specific features, OnePlus 7 Pro is confirmed to sport a bezel-less display, triple rear cameras. The device is also rumored to feature a pop-up selfie camera. Under the hood, it will be fuelled by the Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 855 processor and will run on Android Pie. For unlocking the device smartly there will be In-Display fingerprint scanner. Further, the screen is said to support the 90Hz refresh rate for extreme gaming. The triple rear camera setup on the triple camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro comprises of 48MP primary camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens.

Furthermore, the company’s CEO Pete Lau suggested that the OnePlus 7 Pro would come to the market with a price tag around 5,000 Yuan (approx. Rs. 51,883). A recent report also indicated at the price of the OnePlus 7 Pro variants. As per the report, OnePlus 7 Pro 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will cost $749 (approx. 52,442), whereas the 12GB RAM +256GB storage variant will go for $819 (approx. Rs.57,343). The pricing details of the OnePlus 7 Pro 6GB RAM variant is still unknown. The smartphone will come in Mirror Grey, Almond, and Nebula Blue color options.
