Rumors have circulated for quite some time now regarding the OnePlus 7 series smartphones, and it looks like we won’t have to wait too long. The company has earlier said that it will be revealing the launch date on April 23 and Today a new video teaser shared on Twitter by OnePlus official reveals May 14 as the debut date for the OnePlus 7 series.

For the first time, the company is holding the launch event simultaneously in New York, London, and Bengaluru. In India, the launch event kicks off at 8:15 PM on May 14. There’s no dearth of leaks when it comes to the OnePlus 7 series. We’ve seen several leaks, images, 360-degree CAD-based renders of the devices that revealed a dual camera setup on the OnePlus 7 and triple-camera, pop-up selfie camera design on the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Few recently leaked renders have also hinted at a return of the headphone jack in the standard OnePlus 7 variant. According to the report, the triple camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro comprises of 48MP primary camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens.

In terms of other specifications, OnePlus 7 is likely to feature a bezel-less display and Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. The device is confirmed to run on Android Pie. The OnePlus 7 is rumored to sport a 6.5-inch display. The seventh-generation OnePlus device will ship with a dual camera setup on the rear, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Talking about the Pro variant, the OnePlus 7 Pro would sport a bezel-less display, pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras. The device is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor and will run on Android Pie. For unlocking the device smartly there will be In-Display fingerprint scanner. Further, this version’s screen is said to support the 90Hz refresh rate for ultimate gaming.
