Earlier reports suggested that the OnePlus 8 series will debut on April 15. As of now, there are no reports on when the launch date actually is. The upcoming OnePlus 8 series is said to include three new phones: OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite. All three smartphones have appeared in several leaks over the past couple of months. Especially OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have surfaced online quite a few times. Now, a rendered image of the OnePlus 8 has reportedly made its way online and seems to be a press render.

Press render (pictured above) of the OnePlus 8 has been leaked by the website Pigtou and @Onleaks. The images show the OnePlus 8 featuring the punch hole camera on the top left corner of the display. There is a thin speaker grill on the top and a thick chin at the bottom. On the rear, the OnPlus 8 sports a triple-camera setup alongside the dual-tone LED flash unit and all three cameras are aligned in a vertical line similar to that on the OnePlus 7T Pro.

The back panel also shows the new OnePlus logo towards the middle, right below the LED flash. There is also a branding towards the bottom of the panel. You can also see the alert slider and power button on the right side and the volume rocker on the left side. The SIM tray, USB Type-C port, and mono speaker grill are located at the bottom of the handset.

As per the earlier reports, OnePlus 8 will feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it will pack a Snapdragon 865 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. The device is tipped to feature 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

In terms of optics, the triple-camera setup of the phone is said to include a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 16-megapixel secondary shooter and a 2-megapixel third sensor. There will be a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies. The phone will be backed by a 4,300mAh battery with 30W Wrap Charge 30T fast charging support.
