OnePlus 8 lineups that are expected to launch in the second quarter of 2020 and we’ve seen no shortage of rumors regarding the new OnePlus 8 series. The new series is said to include three new phones: OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite. Official details on these phones are still a bit scarce since the launch is far away, but now a new leak seems to firm up the notion that the OnePlus 8 Lite will have the new designs we’ve ever seen on any OnePlus smartphones.
Popular leakster SlashLeaks posted a few images of dummy OnePlus 8 Lite smartphone. The image shows the alleged OnePlus 8 Lite featuring an updated triple camera setup instead of dual rear cameras.
An earlier leak had shown us a different camera setup on the OnePlus 8 Lite smartphone. As you can see in the leaked image above, there is a bunch of OnePlus phones placed inside a container. The blue-colored phone with triple rear cameras seems to be the OnePlus 8 Lite. Another OnePlus phone that can be seen in the image with a wide notch on its display could be OnePlus 6. Thus, we can assume that the OnePlus 8 Lite will continue to feature a punch-hole display.
No additional details are available right now. Having said so, it is important to note that all these details should be taken with a pinch of salt and we will have to wait from an official word from OnePlus to know more about the new OnePlus 8 series.
OnePlus 8 Lite Specifications (Rumored)
OnePlus 8 Lite will sport a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED E2 display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is said to come with the Dimensity 1000 SoC under the hood with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.0 storage of 128 GB and 256 GB. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 8 Lite is tipped to feature triple rear cameras consisting of an f/1.7 aperture 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 main lens, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera may carry support for OIS and EIS.
OnePlus 8 Lite Price
As per the earlier report, the OnePlus 8 Lite will launch in two variants: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, will reportedly carry a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 30,370) and 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 33,492) respectively.
