| By DWR Editor

We’ve been hearing about the OnePlus 8 series for a couple of months now. After plenty of rumors and leaked renders of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, there’s finally a leaked press render of another phone, OnePlus Z (rumored to be the OnePlus 8 Lite) has surfaced online. The company earlier revealed that the launch date for the OnePlus 8 series is set for April 14.

The live render comes from tipster OnLeaks. However, the leak mentions the phone name as OnePlus Z. So, there will be a new phone called OnePlus Z or it is an OnePlus 8 Lite? The leaked HD render showcases the phone from the front. However, it doesn’t reveal anything regarding the specs of the phone.

As per the render leaked online, alleged OnePlus Z will come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor and triple rear camera setup. The OnePlus Z design matches with the OnePlus 8 Lite previously released by Onleaks. If the OnePlus 8 Lite and OnePlus Z are the same phones, then the OnePlus Z should feature a center punch-hole camera display.

Earlier, the founder and CEO of the OnePlus brand, Liu Zuohu, revealed that OnePlus will no longer use a 60Hz display. So, we can expect at least a 90Hz refresh rate display on OnePlus Z phone.

If the earlier report has to be believed then the OnePlus Z will pack a MediaTek Dimensity chip, which may be Dimensity 1000. No word as yet on how much the OnePlus Z is going to cost and what will be the specifications of the phone.
