Oppo is reportedly gearing up to introduce a new A-series smartphone called Oppo A17. According to reports, the successor to last year’s Oppo A16 will debut by the end of the month. The report, published by 91mobiles in collaboration with popular tipster Evan Blass, shows off the design renders, colour options, and specifications of the upcoming Oppo A17 smartphone.

Oppo A17 Design

Based on leaked details, the Oppo A17 will have a chic-leather textured back panel and a flat edge design. It will be available in three colors – orange, black, and sky blue. 

There will be a waterdrop notch on the front and a dual camera setup on the rear. A fingerprint scanner appears to be mounted on the side of the Oppo A17, which will also double as the power button. Both the volume rockers and the power button are located on the right edge of the device, while the SIM card tray is located on the left edge.

Oppo A17 Specifications (Leaked)

According to the tipster, the upcoming Oppo A17 will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35. To recall, the predecessor Oppo A16 was launched with Helio G35 SoC. It is also reported that the phone will have a 5000mAh battery unit. The device will come with 64GB of internal storage.
