OPPO Ace2 official renders, storage variants leaked

OPPO Ace2 doing rounds on the internet from the past few days. Oppo recently confirmed that they will launch the successor of the Reno Ace smartphone dubbed as Ace2 in China on April 13. Today another render and leak of the phone made its way to the internet, and now we have a good idea of how the OPPO Ace2 will look like. 

As per the leaked render, Oppo Ace2 is going to have a punch-hole display. On the rear, there will be an ‘Oreo’ shaped quad-camera setup. Today, Oppo on Weibo announced that the Ace2 will support 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging and 40W wireless charging.

The JD listing of the Ace2 reveals that it is set to release in color variants such as Moon Rock Ash and Fantasy Purple. Further, as per the listing, there will be three variants of Ace2 in China: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

Since this phone is already out, we know what it will offer but one thing was missing until now and that was pricing. As per the report, the Oppo Ace2 is expected to be priced 3,000 Yuan and 4,000 Yuan in home-country China. However, we should wait for the official launch event to know the exact pricing.

OPPO Ace2 specifications include a 6.5-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio support. The punch-hole on the front will house the 16MP front camera.

Optics on the back include a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel, and 2-megapixel sensors.

Oppo will use the Snapdragon 865 SoC with LPDDR5 RAM. At last, the handset reportedly packs 4,000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
