Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro 5G launched: Price, specifications

Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro have been launched as the latest smartphones by Oppo. While the Oppo Reno 4 5G comes with a quad rear camera setup, the Oppo Reno 4 5G Pro features a triple rear camera setup. Both new Oppo Reno series phones are powered by Qualcomm’s  Snapdragon 765 5G processor.

Oppo Reno 4 is priced at 2999 yuan (approx. Rs 31,960) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs 3299 yuan (approx. Rs 35,145). It has arrived in Diamond Blue, Mirror Black and Taro Purple color options.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G, on the other hand, comes in Diamond Blue, Diamond Red, Mirror Black, Titanium Blank and Green Glitter colours. Talking about the price, the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of 3799 yuan (approx. Rs 40,470) and the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at 4299 yuan (approx. Rs 45,790)

Oppo Reno 4 5G Specifications

Oppo Reno 4 5G runs Android 10 with ColorOS 7.0 on top and features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core Snapdragon 765 5G processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM. There is the quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary lens with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, an 8-megapixel 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel mono lens along with laser autofocus sensor.

For selfies, the Oppo Reno 4 5G includes a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture along with a 2-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture at the front.

The Oppo Reno 4 5G has 256GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options on the phone include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C. There is also the in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Further, the Oppo Reno 4 5G packs a 4020mAh battery that supports 65W Super Flash Charge (SuperVOOC 2.0) fast charging. Besides, the phone measures 159.3×74.0×7.8mm and weighs 183grams. 

Oppo Reno 4 Pro Specifications 

Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G comes equipped with a 6.553-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels along with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is fueled by a Snapdragon 765 5G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 65W Super Flash Charge (SuperVOOC 2.0) fast charging. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, there is a triple-camera setup on the rear with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, LED flash, a 12-megapixel  120° ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX708 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 5x hybrid zoom, 20x digital zoom, laser autofocus. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. Software-wise, it runs Android 10 with ColorOS 7.0.
