Oppo Reno 4, Reno 4 Pro confirmed to launch on june 5 with Snapdragon 765G and 5G support

Oppo is all set to launch its new Reno4-series smartphone in China on June 5. The company has posted a teaser on its Weibo account confirming that the Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro smartphones are coming on June 5. Also, the phone is already up for pre-orders on Chinese retailer JD.com.

Oppo Reno 4 series will the successor to last year’s Reno 3 series. The upcoming Reno4 series will bring 5G connectivity to the mid-range price segment. According to the TENAA listing, the Reno 4 will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display while Reno 4 Pro will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. Both the devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC. It is said to launch in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models.

As per the leaks, Oppo Reno 4 series will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the software front, both the phones will run on Android 10-based ColorOS 7. The leaked renders have also confirmed that the phone will sport punch-hole on the front that houses a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. On the backside, the devices seen featuring a triple camera setup arranged vertically at the top left corner.

Going by the leaked specifications, Reno 4 Pro will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, paired with a 12-megapixel secondary lens and a 13-megapixel sensor. Oppo Reno 4, on the other hand, will come equipped with a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The standard variant is also likely to have an additional 2-megapixel depth sensor at the front. In terms of battery, both the handset are tipped to come with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
