Finally, Samsung has unveiled the two new budget phones in India under its M-series – Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01. The key highlights of both the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 smartphones are Dolby ATMOS technology and the Samsung Health app to monitor your health 24/7.
Samsung Galaxy M01, Galaxy M11 Price, Availability
Priced at Rs 8,999 the Samsung Galaxy M01 comes in a single 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage variant. The Galaxy M11, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage costs Rs 12,999.
Both the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 phones will be available across all Samsung offline stores, Samsung.com, Amazon.in, and Flipkart starting from June 2.
Talking about the color options, the Samsung Galaxy M01 is launched in Black, Blue, and Red colors whereas the Samsung Galaxy M11 has arrived in Black, Violet, and Blue color options.
Samsung Galaxy M11 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M11 packs a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-O LCD display and has a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels. It features a punch-hole at the top left corner of the display that houses a selfie camera of 8-megapixel (f.2.0). Under the hood, it gets a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM The 32GB/64Gb internal storage can be expanded via microSD up to 512GB.
In the camera department, the Galaxy M11 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 115 degrees and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear cameras support video recording of up to 1080p. As we mentioned earlier, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Ticking all these is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs Android 10 OS with OneUI 2.0 skin. The Galaxy M11 also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone measures 161.4×76.3×9.0mm and weigh 197 grams.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M01 flaunts a 5.71-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It packs a 1.95Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of native storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card slot. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
For optics, there is a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling, it has a 5-megapixel f/2.2 aperture camera.
The handset runs on the Android 10 OS with OneUI. It is backed up with a 4,000mAh battery. The device measures 146.4 x 70.86 x 9.8 mm. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
