| By DWR Editor

It has been revealed that the soon to be launched Redmi K20 scored an impressive 458,754 on the benchmarking site AnTuTu. Based on a few leaked specs of the device already on the internet, it beats everyone’s imagination as to how the handset can score so high. The basic reason for this is that the Redmi K20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

According to the AnTuTu benchmarking scores, the Redmi K20 with codename “Raphael” was able to obtain a score of 458,754. Moreover, the Redmi K20 tested were not the final retail units, so there is a chance the handset will offer higher scores after the launch. Interestingly, the device managed to score more than Xiomi’s latest flagship recently launched Mi 9 and even higher than the gaming smartphones Black Shark 2 and Nubia Red Magic 3.

Speaking about the specifications, the handset is expected to come with a 32-megapixel camera on the front and a triple-camera setup on the rear. Rumor has it that the Redmi K20 will receive a 48 MP main camera. The company is also launching the Pro variant of Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro in China. If rumored information is correct, the Redmi K20 will be offered in Red, Blue, and Carbon Fibre color options.

Coming to the Redmi K20 Pro, it is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 855 processor, 48MP triple camera set up at the back, a pop-up 20MP AI front camera, a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. The handset will feature 6.39-inch AMOLED screen, a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
