Redmi’s First Snapdragon 855 Flagship Phone May Be Called Redmi K20 Pro

Last month, a leak said that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is working on its first smartphone with Snapdragon 855. Later, a report followed it up and claimed that Redmi’s first SD 855 powered phone will feature pop-up selfie camera. We’ve already seen a number of leaks of the first Snapdragon 855 phone from Redmi. Now, an alleged protective film from the upcoming phone leaked online. This is also being speculated to be the final name of the brand’s first Snapdragon 855 SoC powered smartphone.

As per a leak of alleged protective film from the Redmi’s upcoming phone, the smartphone may go official sometime next month in China with the name Redmi K20 Pro. If we observe the protective film of the smartphone, we can see few specs of the smartphone such as Snapdragon 855 processor, 48MP triple camera set up at the back and a pop-up 20MP AI front camera, a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.

Furthermore, the protective film also reveals that the device will feature a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen and a new generation version of screen fingerprint.

If this report ends up being true, the Redmi’s first Snapdragon 855 chipset powered phone will be called the Redmi K20 Pro. It is worth to mention that a few days ago, the company’s general manager Lu Weibing revealed that the phone won’t be called as the Redmi X.
