Redmi To Launch 64MP Quad Camera Smartphone Soon

After the 48MP camera trend, smartphone companies are racing to bring flagships with 64MP cameras. Realme officially confirmed that it will be launching a 64MP camera smartphone with Quad-Camera Setup on 8th of August at an event in New Delhi.

Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme also confirmed that Realme will be the first company to bring a 64MP camera smartphone in the country. Earlier, Xiaomi Redmi also teased that the company is also working on its upcoming smartphone with a 64MP camera. It also shared a sample image shot using the 64MP smartphone of Redmi and also told that it will capture photos up to the size of 20MB. Let us see who will take the cake in this new 64MP race.

A new leak released by Ice universe which tells that Redmi will bring a smartphone with 64MP primary camera very soon. It also further added that Samsung also started working on a 64MP camera smartphone and may launch the same in September-October.

However, it is still unclear that when will Redmi launch this smartphone with 64MP camera. It is expected that Redmi may launch its 64MP camera smartphone after the launch of Realme. Interestingly, both these companies may use  Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor in their phones with 64-megapixel cameras. It is also clear that the smartphone with the best sensor will give the best photos.

To talk more about the leaked reports, the 64MP camera smartphone from Redmi can also have 4 cameras on the back with the 64MP primary camera. It may also become the first smartphone from the company to come with a Quad camera setup. This smartphone may also get a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset along with the Samsung’s camera sensor.
