| By Shandilya

Samsung revamped its Galaxy A-series earlier this year by launching many new A-series smartphones in the market. The most recently launched smartphones in this Galaxy A-series are the Samsung Galaxy A70 and Samsung Galaxy A80. Samsung also claimed that it had sold over 2 million Galaxy A-series smartphones in a span of 40 days.

Samsung already launched the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A20e, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A60, Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 globally. All these smartphones are spread across different budget ranges and with some super and premium features.

Last month some leaks suggested that Samsung is planning to add a new smartphone to the Galaxy A-series lineup. Most probably it may be Galaxy A10e smartphone, as the name suggests it may be a smaller variant of Galaxy A10. Samsung already launched Galaxy A20 and its small version Galaxy A20e in the market.

As we already know that Samsung Galaxy A10e was spotted on Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and Wi-Fi Alliance last month for certifications. Now, the same smartphone is found on FCC which suggests that this may launch anytime soon in coming days.

The FCC certification is not revealing any major specifications of the smartphone other than the battery. According to the FCC data, Galaxy A10e may come with a battery with model number EB-BA202ABU. Some earlier leaks also confirmed that Galaxy A10e will be backed with a 3000mAh battery.

It is almost confirmed that Samsung Galaxy A10e is a slightly downgraded variant of Galaxy A10. Galaxy A10e will also be the most affordable and cheapest smartphone in the Galaxy A series lineup. It may also slightly vary in specifications and features of Galaxy A10.

As per some online leaks, Samsung Galaxy A10e may be powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor which is paired by a 2GB RAM. It is also reported that Galaxy A10e will come with a smaller display than the Galaxy A10.

Just to recall, Samsung Galaxy A10 was launched with a 6.2-inch Infinity-V IPS LCD display with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7884 octa-core processor with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. Samsung Galaxy comes with 2GB RAM ++ 32GB internal storage and three colour variants Black,  Blue and Red. The internal storage can be further enhanced up to 512GB using a microSD card.

Galaxy A10 runs Android Pie v9.0 OS and backed by a 3400mAH lithium-ion battery. It also sports a 13MP primary camera on the back with flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Samsung Galaxy A10 was launched at a price of Rs.9,600.
