Xiaomi Mi 10 to Pack 4800mAh Battery: Report

We already know that the Chinese brand Xiaomi working on its next smartphone named ‘Mi 10’. Now new information about the yet-to-be-launched smartphone has been leaked online. In the latest development, the battery capacity of the Mi 10 is tipped online.

Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has posted on Twitter that the upcoming Mi 10 smartphone is said to pack a massive 4800 mAh battery. According to his post, the Mi 10 battery to have a capacity in the range of 4500 mAh to 4800 mAh. If this is true then it will be another Xiaomi flagship smartphone after Mi Note 10 to come with such high-capacity battery. To recall, the predecessor Mi 9 was launched with a 3300mAh battery. Furthermore, the report mentions that the actual capacity of the phone might differ 100 mAh.

As per the previous report, Xiaomi Mi 10 will be able to get a full battery charge in just 35 minutes. The company is already working on 50W wireless charging technology and it might not be made available in the first half of 2020.

According to the Foxconn insiders, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are codenamed as J2 and J1, respectively. Previously, alleged Mi 10 with 5G support codenamed Xiaomi MJ2001J2E/C was approved by 3C and it revealed that the handset can carry support for 30W fast charging. Moreover, the 3C listing of Xiaomi MJ2001J1E/C 5G believed to be the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro revealed that the device could ship with an MDY-11-EB charger that supports 66W fast charging.

To talk about the specifications, the upcoming Mi 10 series is expected to run on Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is likely to feature a 108-megapixel primary camera on its rear. Mi 10 will pack a Snapdragon 865 SoC.
