Xiaomi is going to launch the Redmi 9i in India on September 15. And now we can more or less confirm the price of the Redmi 9i launching on Tuesday.
A leak by Tipster Ishan Agarwal in association with 91Mobiles reveals the price of the phone – it will be Rs 7,999. The price tag applies to Redmi 9i’s 4GB + 64GB variant. The company is said to launch the phone in 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB models. Unfortunately, the price of the 4GB/128GB is not disclosed. Further, the report also tipped that the phone will be launched in Midnight Black, Sea Blue, and Nature Green colour variants.
As a reminder, we still lack concrete information about the upcoming Redmi 9i and we have to wait for September 15th launch event to clear all the confusion about the price and specifications of the Redmi 9i phone. Don’t worry, we’ll give you the full details once they are out.
The landing page on the Mi India website reveals that the Redmi 9i will come with 4GB RAM and it will have a display with waterdrop notch at the top. The phone will go on sale via Flipkart and mi.com. It has a volume rocker and power button on the right side and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top. At the bottom, it sports the speaker grill and USB Type-C port.
Past rumours suggest that the Redmi 9i could come with a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is tipped to pack 2GHz octa core MediaTek Helio G25 processor. It will support additional storage up to 512GB via microSD card slot.
The handset will run on Android 10-based MIUI and pack a 5,000mAh battery. It reportedly features a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
