Asus ROG Phone 5 has finally gone official today along with ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. Asus ROG Phone 5 will be a Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale starting April 15 at 12 noon.

Asus ROG Phone 5 Price in India, Availability

The Asus ROG Phone 5 comes in Phantom Black and Storm White colour options. Last but not least, the phone will retail for Rs 49999 and Rs 57,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage variants respectively.

The ROG Phone 5 Pro in Phantom Black colour with 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage costs Rs 69,999 and the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate comes in Storm White colour with 18GB of RAM and 512GB storage priced at Rs 79,999.

The company also announced the optional ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad, Professional Dock, ROG Clip, and Lighting Armor Case. The ROG Phone 5 also comes with AeroActive Cooler 5 that includes two physical AirTrigger buttons, a kickstand, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.78 inches full HD+ OLED screen with 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution, an aspect ratio of 20.4:9, 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch-sampling rate, 24.3ms touch latency, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and HDR10+. It has usual connectivity options like 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

Under the hood, the Asus ROG Phone 5 features the new octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC. The handset comes fitted with Adreno 660, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. It ships with Android 11-based ROG UI out-of-the-box.

The main camera uses image sensors with a resolution of 64-megapixel and it is paired with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is 24-megapixel. The 6000 mAh battery with 65W HyperCharge fast charging. The fast charging tech is claimed to charge 70% in just 30 minutes and 100% in 52 minutes. The device measures 172.834 x 77.252 x 10.29mm and its weight is 238grams.
