Asus Zenfone Lite L1, Zenfone Max M1 launched in India with Snapdragon 430 SoC

Asus, already confirmed about its two latest midrange smartphones launch is now goes official at an event in India, which will be launched as Flipkart exclusives .The smartphones go on sale during the upcoming ‘Flipkart Dhamaka Days’. Asus which launched its flagship Zenfone  5Z which regained its pride with its incredible specs yet with an aggressive price and also  an affordable phone  Zenfone Max M1 in india earlier this year. And now the two latest devices will be a part of its ZenFone series namely Zenfone Lite L1 and Zenfone Max M1 which are priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.

Coming to the launch offers, during the intial festive season both smartphones will be available with a discount of Rs 1,000. Customers will also get Rs 2,200 cashback and 50GB of additional data from Reliance Jio. Both the phones will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Black and Gold colours.

Display

Both the ZenFone models come with 5.45-inch HD+ (1440×720) IPS displays with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits brightness and 295 ppi.

Hardware

The phones are also powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset.

Storage

Moving to the memory configurations, These two phones comes in two storage varints Having 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage respectively. Both the models will support storage expandability up to 256GB via microSD card. Both the phones support dual SIMs and a dedicated slot for microSD card.

Biometrics

Here there is some difference in two models where the ZenFone Max M1 comes with fingerprint sensor alongside face unlock. The ZenFone Lite L1 will only get face to unlock as a biometric option.

Imaging

For Photographs, he ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a 13-megapixel sensor on the back with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12 micron pixels, PDAF and LED flash support. On the front, the device gets a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The ZenFone Max M1 gets a similar 13-Tsupport camera modes like Beauty, Pro, Panorama, Time Lapse, HDR and Portrait.

Battery

The Zenfone Max M1 houses a bigger battery 4,000mAh while the Lite L1 gets a 3,000mAh battery. The former will ship with a 10W charger while the latter will ship with a 5W charger.

Software

The ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1 ship with Android Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 on top. Asus says Zen UI is light and bloatware-free with very few pre-loaded apps like Facebook and Instagram.

Connectivity

Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS. The phones also come with Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient light sensors.
