Gionee M12 Pro goes official with Helio P60 SoC, triple camera setup

Chinese brand Gionee has unveiled a new phone in home-country called Gionee M12 Pro. Priced at 700 Yuan (approx. Rs 7,500), the phone comes in single 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It will be available in White and Blue gradient glossy finishes.

Gionee M12 Pro Specifications

Gionee M12 Pro packs a 6.2-inch HD+ waterdrop display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Fuelled by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, it is paired with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.The phone ships with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, which is further expandable using microSD card slot.

In the camera department, it has a triple-camera setup on the rear that comprises a 16-megapixel primary lens with f/2.0 aperture. However, other two sensors details are not available at the moment. For selfies, it features 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The handset boots Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner for bio-metric authentication.

Connectivity parts are managed by 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone weighs 160 grams.
