Chinese smartphone brand Gionee has launched the new smartphone under the Steel-series, dubbed as Gionee Steel 5. The smartphone entered as a new entry-level smartphone in China. Gionee, however, did not reveal the price and availability details of the Gionee Steel 5 smartphone. Read on to know about the Gionee Steel 5 specifications, features and other details.
Gionee Steel 5 Specifications
Gionee Steel 5 features a 6.21-inch HD+ display (1520 x 720 pixels) with a waterdrop notch on top. The smartphone is powered by an unspecified 2.0GHz octa-core processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM. It packs up to 128GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
For photography, Gionee Steel 5 sports a dual-camera setup of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone also houses dual-LED flash on the rear.
More features on the Gionee Steel 5 include dual SIM support, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device measures 159.7 x 75.9 x 9.9mm. The smartphone is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with an intelligent power management system and 5V/2A charging support. The smartphone runs on the Amigo OS skin and it will ship with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
