Honor 10i with Kirin 710 SoC and triple rear cameras announced

Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei silently launched its new midrange segment smartphone dubbed as Honor 10i that takes a slight upgrade over Honor 10 Lite that was launched earlier this year. This smartphone is launched in Russia, not in India. Instead of dual camera setup, it got a triple rear camera setup with a 32 Mp selfie shooter. This device got more specs like Honor 9i and Honor 10 lite with a major difference at its camera setup.

On to the specs, On Display front, The device features a 6.21-inch FullHD+ (2280×1080 pixels) display with 90 per cent screen to body ratio. On design wise, It got a similar gradient glossy backpacked as honor 10 lite and with a waterdrop notch on its display with thin bezels.

For hardware, the device is fuelled by a Kirin 710 chipset, which is accompanied by GPU Turbo technology 2.0 to boost the performance. The device coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage, which should be expandable further. For biometrics.the device got arear mounted fingerprint scanner and a facial recognition feature for unlocking.

For photography, The device includes the triple cameras comprise a 24-megapixel f/1.8 shooter, an 8-megapixel f/2.4 snapper and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 sensor. The camera features all of Honors’s AI tricks for photography. The 32MP selfie shooter also comes with AI and facial recognition features. On the software front, the handset comes pre-loaded with EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9 Pie. Powering the device is a 3,400mAh battery with micro-USB 2.0 support.

For connectivity, The device includes 4G LTE, WiFi, WiFi direct, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS/ GLONASS. Lastly, the device measures 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95mm and weighs 164 grams.

Price and Availability:

The Honor 10i has silently launched I Russia where there is no word on the pricing of the Honor 10i, the device is listed on the company’s official website in Russia with ‘Coming Soon’ tag. The handset flaunts gradient glass body and comes in Shimmer Red, Shimmer Blue, and Vicious Black hues. The pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
