Honor Magic 2 With Sliding Camera May Launch On October 26

Honor announced to launch the Honor Magic 2 at IFA 2018. The company also confirmed at the IFA 2018, that the Honor Magic 2 will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 Octa-core chipset, which is the first 7nm mobile processor.

According to the unofficial teaser invite, published by the Android Pure, the Honor Magic 2 seems to be unveiled on 26 October at an event in China. The invite also suggests that the Honor Magic 2 will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As far as the specifications are concerned, Huawei revealed the Honor Magic 2 to feature full-screen AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440p and 2.5D curved glass protection plus no bezels. Further, the device will also sport in-display fingerprint scanning technology. While the Magic 2 will be first Honor to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Coming to the design, the Honor Magic 2 will have a premium all-glass design with state-of-the-art features. The Honor Magic 2 is likely to sport greater screen to body ratio (above 90%) with a sliding selfie camera and a dual camera setup on the rear. The Honor Magic 2 might also support 40W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging feature.

Talking about the price of the Honor Magic 2, the smartphone is expected to cost around Rs 50,000 in India. The Honor Magic 2 will be the first Huawei’s phone to support in-display fingerprint sensor.
