Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently unveiled the Honor MagicBook 14, MagicBook 15, MagicBook Pro with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs in China and now the company is ready to launch the Honor MagicBook 15 in India. The upcoming Honor MagicBook 15 will be Flipkart exclusive in India. The company is likely to launch the laptop alongside the Honor 9S and Honor 9A smartphones on the July 31st launch event. Honor has already confirmed that the Honor 9A will be exclusively available on Amazon India while the Honor 9S will be exclusively available online on Flipkart. Honor MagicBook 15 price in China has been set at CNY 4,199 (approx. Rs. 45,000) for the Ryzen 5 CPU + 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model whereas the Ryzen 7 + 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs CNY 4,699 (approx. Rs. 50,400).
Honor MagicBook 15 specifications
Honor MagicBook 15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display that has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Powered by the 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, the processor has 2.1GHz base clock speed (turbo boost up to 3.7GHz) and Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics. It is coupled with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.
It boots on the Linux operating system. Connectivity features on the Honor MagicBook 15 are Dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, 1 x USB Type-C port, 1 x USB 3.0 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1 x HDMI, and 3.5mm audio combo jack. It measures 357.8 × 229.9 × 16.9 mm in size and weighs about 1.53Kg. Further, it has a 42Wh battery that can be recharged through a 65W power adapter via USB Type C.
