Honor has officially confirmed the launch date for the Honor Play 4 series on Weibo. As per the teaser, the Honor Play 4 series will be unveiled in China on June 3. Honor Play 4 series has been in the news for a while, with few leaks suggesting their design and key specifications.

Honor Play 4 series features

The Honor Play 4 will have a 6.81-inch Full HD+ display. It reportedly measures around 170 x 78.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs 213 grams in the scale. It will be backed by a 4200mAh battery and will run out of the box with the EMUI operating system. Unfortunately, the devices will lack the support for Google Mobile Services.

Leaks have also suggested that Honor Play 4 could come with a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and two dedicated 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. On the front, it might feature a 16-megapixel camera housed inside the punch-hole display in the upper left corner of the screen.

Talking about the Honor Play 4 Pro, leaks hinted only two camera sensors on the rear of the phone. So, we expect the device to launch with more powerful sensors. As per the 3C and Wi-Fi Alliance certification, the handset supports 40-watt charging and it is likely to be priced 3,000 yuan or more.
