Honor launched its latest tablet Honor Table 8 in its home market in China. The tablet replaces the Honor V7 that was launched last year.Honor Tablet 8

Pre-orders for the Honor Tablet 8 have started in China. It will be available at a discounted price of 1,399 yuan (approx. Rs 16,518) for the base version during the pre-sale period.

Honor Tablet 8 Price, Availability

A base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs 1,499 yuan (approximately 17,712). It’s also available with 6GB RAM and a 128GB storage model for 1,799 yuan (approximately 21,257).

There is also a top-end version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, priced at 1,999 yuan (approximately 23,604). It comes in three different colors: Mint Green, Dawn Blue, and Dawn Gold.

Honor Tablet 8 Specifications

Specs-wise, the Honor Tablet 8 sports a 12-inch 2K LCD display that offers a screen resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels,  a 10:6 aspect ratio, and 1.07 billion colors. The screen has a narrow bezel of 7.2mm. In case your screen panel is broken, you can buy a replacement touch screen panel online.

The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. 

As for the camera, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front. There is a 7,250mAh battery inside the Honor Tablet 8 that supports 22.5W fast charging.

In addition, it has Rheinland hardware-level low blue light, Rheinland no flicker, and eye protection certification from the National Eye Engineering Center. The device also supports Huawei’s Histen sound effects as well as DTS:X Ultrasound for a better sound experience.

Running on the tablet is the Magic UI 6.1, which offers support for multi-screen collaboration, an application split screen with free adjustment of three-speed windows, in addition to new upgraded Smart desktop experiences.
