The Honor View 10 was launched on January, 2018 in India and now, the company is gearing up to launch its successor the Honor View 20 in India on January 29. Ahead of the official launch in India, IANS has cited industry sources to claim the Honor View 20 price in India.
According to IANS report, the upcoming Honor View 20 price in India will be approximately Rs. 40,000. To recall, the Honor View 20 is the global variant of the Honor V20 and company unveiled it in China last month. The smartphone is going to launch globally on January 22 in Paris, ahead of January 29th India launch. The Honor View 20 will be available via Amazon India and the HiHonor Store, and pre-bookings on both these platforms will start on January 15 next week.
The Honor V20 price starts af CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 30,400) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 3,499 (approx. Rs. 35,500) in China. The phone is available in Charm Blue, Red, and Midnight Black colour option in its home country.
Honor View 20 Specifications
The Honor View 20 sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2310 pixels and an 91.82 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device runs on proprietary MagicUI 2.0.1 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is powered by the latest 7nm octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The smartphone comes with two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. There is no microSD slot for further expansion of the storage.
In the camera department, the Honor View 20 features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus, AI HDR, and LED flash support. There’s a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor to capture the depth of an image. Up front, there is a 25-megapixel front sensor with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus support. Camera features include AI photo, night scene, portrait, fun AR, time-lapse photography, slow-motion, and more. It also ships with the Yoyo virtual assistant.
The device packs a massive 4,000mAh battery and supports fast charging 4.5V/5A. It was previously confirmed that the Honor View 20 will have a Link Turbo technology that enables simultaneous downloading through 4G networks and Wi-Fi for maximum throughput. The technology uses AI and big data to analyze network conditions and switch between Wi-Fi and 4G.
