Honor introduced its new X-series smartphone, Honor X8 in select global markets including Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. It is likely to launch in other markets as well. At the moment, there are no details available about the launch of the X8 in India. 

A new mid-range offering from Honor packs a Snapdragon chipset, a square-shaped quad-camera module. Currently, there are no details about the phone’s pricing. Here are the Honor X8’s specifications, features, and other details.

It has a 6.7-inch LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate. a 93.6 percent screen-to-body ratio and a hole-punch cutout at the top center.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports 2GB of virtual RAM. 

A quad-camera setup is on the back. It comes with a 64MP primary camera sensor, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The phone has a 16MP front camera that can be used for selfies and video calls.

The device uses a 4000 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging out of the box. Honor claims to offer up to 3 hours of battery life in 10 minutes. There’s a built-in fingerprint scanner on the side and an AI face unlock.

It runs on Android 11-based MagicUI 4.2 skin out of the box. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.
