HTC Desire 12, Desire 12+ with 3GB RAM Launched in India

HTC has launched two new smartphone on Wednesday that is HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ in India. The two budget smartphones were revealed across the globe by HTC back in March, and their highlights include the presence of displays with 18:9 aspect ratios, as well as the use of a durable acrylic glass back surface. The Desire 12+ also features a dual rear camera setup, and a LED flash module on the front camera. Both smartphones offer the feature of PDAF (phase detection autofocus). The Desire 12 and Desire 12+ smartphones will be available via ecommerce platforms  on the HTC India E-Store, and will also be available across retail stores starting from this month end itself.

The HTC Desire 12 price in India has been set at the cost of Rs. 15,800, while the Desire 12+ price in India has been set at the cost of Rs. 19,790. Both the HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ will be available in two color options of Cool Black and Warm Silver.

HTC Desire 12 Specifications

The HTC Desire 12 runs on the Android which is based on HTC top notch and features a 5.5-inch High Definition+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a processor of quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC, which is coupled with 3GB RAM options. The smartphone has a primary rear camera of 13-megapixel with PDAF and an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel BSI sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

With respect to storage, HTC always provide the best storage on their smartphone as on the Desire 12 it has 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can further be extended via microSD card (up to 2TB). this smartphone as usually runs Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense on top and has a 6-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display which is greater than HTC desire 12 with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered and supported by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The Desire 12+ has a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel BSI primary sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. For taking selfies and video calling, there is an 8-megapixel BSI camera sensor on the front with beautification mode.

The storage is same just like the HTC desire 12, 32GB which can be extended further expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). It packs with a battery capacity of 2965mAh battery which is non-removable one, measures 158.2×76.2×8.4mm, and weighs 157.5 grams.
