Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6, MatePad Pro 10.8, MatePad 11 launched with HarmonyOS 2.0

In China and Europe, Huawei launched its Huawei MatePad Pro 12 and Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 tablets that feature its latest HarmonyOS. Besides the tablets, Huawei also introduced the Huawei M-Pencil 2nd Gen and the Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard.

Huawei’s MatePad Pro 12.6 is available with two storage configurations: an 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB model that are priced at CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 57,000), and CNY 5,499 (approx Rs 63,000), respectively. If you decide to purchase the bundle with the M-Pencil and Smart Magnetic Keyboard, you will be able to get the 8GB + 256GB option for CNY 6,699 (approximately Rs 76,600). Featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the 5G model is priced at CNY  7,999 (approx Rs 91,500) with M-Pencil and keyboard.

The Huawei MatePad 11 Wi-Fi model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs EUR 399 (approx Rs 35,500) whereas the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of EUR 499 (approx Rs 44,500). It comes in Matte Gray colour.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 Wi-Fi model costs CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 43,500) for the 8GB + 128GB storage version and CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 49,000) for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant. It will cost CNY 5,299 (approx Rs 60,600) for 8GB/256GB model when bundled with the M-Pencil and the Smart Magnetic Keyboard. It comes in a midnight grey color. 

The M-Pencil 2nd Gen is priced at CNY 599 (approx Rs 6,800). For its 12.6-inch model, the Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard costs CNY 799 (approx Rs 9,000); for its 10.8-inch version, it costs CNY 699 (approx Rs 8,000).

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, the 10.8-inch Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 has a WQXGA display with a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. There is a 13-megapixel sensor on the back with an aperture of f/1.8 lens, and an 8-megapixel camera for video calls with an aperture of f/2.0. There is a 7,250mAh battery backed by 40W Huawei SuperCharge wired fast charging support, and in the box, there is a 22.5W fast charger. WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port round out the connectivity options.

Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6-inch comes with a 12.6-inch WQXGA OLED  display with a 2,560×1,600 pixels screen resolution, contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 9000E SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage that can be expanded via a micro-SD card. On the back of the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 is a triple-camera setup: a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 lens, a wide-angle 8-megapixel sensor (f/2/4), and a 3D depth camera. You get an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens. 

There is a 10,050mAh battery inside the tablet that supports wired fast charging via 40W Huawei SuperCharge. Dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, and USB Type-C ports are among the available connectivity options. Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2 is running on the tablet. 

Huawei MatePad 11 Specifications 

Huawei MatePad 11 features a 10.95-inch (2,560×1,600 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is TÜV Rhineland double certified against blue light emission. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC and with up to 128GB of storage, this smartphone boasts 6GB of RAM. Huawei Matepad 11The device is powered by a 7,250mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. With support for Huawei Histen 7.0 Audio and a Harman Kardon-tuned quad-speaker setup, it offers an excellent audio experience. 

HarmonyOS

Huawei’s new HarmonyOS 2.0 for tablets comes with a redesigned user interface. In addition, the software offers a desktop-like experience and effortless multitasking. HarmonyosHuawei has kept that focus on reachability by providing a separate dock, widgets, and a control panel that looks very similar to Apple‘s iPadOS. A number of new features are included, such as improved mouse support and multi-screen collaboration.
