Huawei’s mid-range tablet, the MediaPad T5, has finally been launched in India. The tablet was first announced in January this year. The MediaPad T5 tablet has been available in India for entry-level pricing of Rs 14,990.
Huawei MediaPad T5 Specifications
Huawei MediaPad T5 sports a 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:10. This mid-range tablet is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The tablet will be offered with 16GB/32GB of internal storage and it supports storage expandability up to 256GB via microSD card. The Huawei MediaPad T5 will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with the company’s EMUI 8.0 skin.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 brings a 5-megapixel AF sensor on the back with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the tablet gets a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture as well. The tablet houses a 5100mAh battery. It measures 243x164x7.8mm and weighs around 460 grams.

The highlighting features on the Huawei MediaPad T5 include dual speakers with Harman Kardon tuning and Histen5.0 technology, a dedicated ‘Children’s Corner’ through which users can set limits to their child’s usage and customize the content available. This tablet also has an eye-comfort mode to offer a comfortable reading experience for users.
Huawei MediaPad T5 Price in India and Availability
Talking about the price, the new Huawei tablet is priced at Rs 14,990 for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant and Rs 16,990 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant. It will come in lone black color and will be available on Amazon India starting July 10. As an introductory launch offer, buyers will get flip cover and HUAWEI Earphone worth Rs. 2,998 for free.
