Smartphone maker Huawei has expanded its Nova-series of smartphones with the launch of Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro smartphones in China. However, there is no confirmation for the India launch as of yet.
Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro Price in China
Huawei Nova 8 price in China is set for RMB 3,299 (roughly Rs 37,300) for the 8GB/128GB variant while the 8GB/256GB variant costs RMB 3699 (approx. Rs 41,800).
The Huawei Nova 8 Pro is priced at RMB 3,999 (approx. Rs 45,200) for the 8GB/128GB variant whereas the 256GB variant price is set for RMB 4,399 (approx. Rs 49,700).
Both the smartphones will be available in Black, Purple, Green, and White color variants. They are already up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale on December 30.
Huawei Nova 8 Pro Specifications
Huawei Nova 8 Pro features a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2676 x 1236 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate. It has an In-display fingerprint sensor and a dual punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 985 paired with Mali-G77 GPU
Huawei Nova 8 Pro packs 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The smartphone runs the Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of EMUI 11. 
As for the camera, the Huawei Nova 8 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP portrait camera. The front of the device houses a dual-selfie camera which comprises 32MP primary shooter with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor.
Huawei Nova 8 Pro houses a 4,000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The smartphone offers 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ GLONASS / Beidou, and has a USB Type-C port as connectivity options.

Huawei Nova 8 runs on Android 10 based EMUI 11 out of the box. Huawei Nova 8 has a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and has an In-display fingerprint sensor. The punch hole display carries the selfie camera in the front. The phone has a Kirin 985 SoC. Moreover, it comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage.
In terms of optics, the rear is set up with a triple camera of 64MP Primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the other hand, the front camera is housing a 32MP lens. The battery packs a 3800mAh and a 66W fast charging.
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
